TaoCHIP® is a concept and an approach that synthesizes the millennial experiences of integral spiritual, medical and self-defense traditions (“Tao”, “Dharma”) and the achievements of modern science and technology (“CHIP”) – “High Touch / High Tech “, East-West combination needed for the challenges of the 21st century. The inspiration for the TaoCHIP® concept comes from these sources:
- Contemporary technology and science (CHIP), especially modern physics (quantum and relativistic), the science of complex dynamic living systems (general theory of living systems, autopoietic systems, cybernetics, complexity theory, chaos theory, fractals), modern ICT technology (open source software, blockchain technology, …). The general theory of living systems explores the common structural and functional features of living systems: human beings, groups and organizations, whole societies and economies, global civilizations as well as planet Earth
- spiritual, medical and martial traditions of Asia (Tao & Dharma) and their essential systemic theory: teachings about 5 Elements in Indian (Ayurveda) and Tibetan Medicine and Psychology (‘Earth’, ‘Water’, ‘Fire’, ‘Air’, ‘space’/’akasha’), traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine and psychology (‘ fire ‘,’ wood ‘,’ earth ‘,’ metal ‘,’ water ‘). Teachings about 4 (or 5) elements are also present in Western traditions, but Eastern systems teach much more detailed and extensive knowledge of the human body, the psyche and the spirit – today through numerous university programs
- CHIP (Complementary, Holistic, Integrative Paradigms) is an acronym for (alternative), complementary, holistic, integrative paradigms in the fields of medicine, psychology, education, agriculture, energy, software, economics, business, management, leadership, etc.
- modern researchers and practitioners who have applied and apply the teachings of 5 elements and 7 chakras in their fields of activity: career and personal finance, business organization, leadership, information and telecommunication technology, psychology, medicine, social development,
- the modern social and economic development of Asian giants, which originated the ancient systemic theories of the universal 5 elements – India (Dharma) and China (‘Tao’), as well as Japan and other ‘Asian tigers’ (South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong – now an integral part of China). At the other end of the Asian continent is the inspiring economic and technological story of Israel: ‘Start-up Nation’. Europe has its “tiger”: Ireland.
The purpose of the TaoCHIP® project, as well as extensions to DharmaTaoCHIP, is to review the concepts, research, practices, experiences, as well as to attempt to synthesize the whole, spectral models of human beings and their creations (social systems) – striving to cover all phenomena levels from material to spiritual levels, as well as their interaction and interdependence. Expanding knowledge of our own potentials and their activation results in better and better results in practical life.
